How to close a small savings account after maturity: Follow these steps in the software.
Step 1: Record > Deposits > Deposit Account Interest
Step 2: Step 2: Enter The A/C Type Small Savings Accounts.
Step 3: Select the Acno of the customer for whom this Small Savings account is to be closed.
Step 4: In a small savings account, the software will automatically calculate the interest after six months.
Step 5: Click on the CLOSE/TRANSFER
Step 6: If you want to close this account, tick the ‘close’ option. After the interest is added, the account balance will be transferred to your savings account, and the small savings account will be closed.
Step 7: After filling in all the information, click on the ‘Save’ button, and your small savings account will be closed, and the money will be transferred to your savings account.
